Greg Chan has more than 30+ years in the field of public affairs and has represented the Bay Area Rapid Transit District, the Oakland Chinese Community Council, several service agencies in San Francisco and the Greater Bay Area, and, currently, serves as the Senior Community Affairs Officer for the East Bay Municipal Utility District.

Greg holds a Bachelor’s degree in Social Welfare and Community Organizing from the California State University at San Diego, a Master’s in Divinity and Communications from Princeton and San Francisco Theological Seminaries and an MBA from Golden Gate University.

He is an ordained teaching elder of the Presbyterian Church, has served as the Vice-Chair of the Metropolitan Greater Oakland Democratic Club, served on a select Task Force of the Oakland Public Ethics Commission, and has served on the Boards of the Greater Mandana Action Coalition, the Asian American Foundation, the International Association of Public Participation, and the Asian Pacific Democratic Caucus of Alameda County.  He resides in Oakland with his wife and daughter.

Marilyn Ng is an active member of the Alameda League of Women Voters. She has served as Board Director At-Large, Membership Chair, and presently as Vice-President of Programs. She received her B.A. from the Univ. of California, Berkeley, and a Masters in Library Studies from the Univ. of Hawaii at Manoa. She recently retired from the Library at her alma mater, U. C. Berkeley.

Jennifer Pae is the Northern California Chair of the CDP Asian Pacific Islander Caucus and Commissioner of the Oakland Community Policing Advisory Board.  She also serves as on the board of the National Women’s Political Caucus - Alameda North, and was recognized by her colleagues, the East Bay Young Democrats, with the first “Kick-Ass Youth Advocate Award.”

In 2008, Jennifer volunteered for Senator Obama’s Presidential campaign as a precinct captain and with Asian Americans for Obama.  Through these efforts she was elected to be California’s only Korean-American DNC delegate, as well as the youngest Korean-American delegate at the DNC Convention. 

Kenneth Pon graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, and now is a CPA with a private practice in downtown San Leandro. His involvement in San Leandro Unified began at the elementary level with the Dads Club, and continued through the middle and secondary levels. He was also the Chairman and treasurer of Yes For Kids! School Bond Committee, served on the District Action Planning Team for Facilities and the District Financial Resource Advisory Committee. Kenneth is a member and past Director of the San Leandro Chamber of Commerce, member and past president of the Downtown Business Association and the San Leandro Breakfast Club.

Suizi Lin is a trial attorney and managing partner of Lin Santo LLP, a partnership comprised of Martin L. Jaspovice, Rick Simons, Rica Cruz-Santo and Suizi Lin, and in a joint venture with Furtado, Jaspovice & Simons.  She represents plaintiffs in collisions, governmental tort claims, Elder Abuse and Nursing Home Neglect cases, medical malpractice, and sexual abuse cases and practices throughout the Bay Area in Alameda County, Contra Costa County, San Francisco County and San Mateo County.  Suizi is co-editor of The Verdict, the Alameda Contra-Costa Trial Lawyers Association's magazine, and is the co-chair of the Amicus Committee of Queens Bench.  She is an active member of Consumer Attorneys of California and San Francisco Trial Lawyers Association.  Suizi received her B.A. from UC Berkeley and her J.D. from Loyola Law School Los Angeles.
